Changed their usage policies to remove a ban on using OpenAI products for "military and warfare." The likely proximate cause for this, from public information, was working with the Pentagon on cybersecurity and veteran suicide. However, it's not clear if there were other (less PR-friendly) motivations for collaboration with militaries, now or in the future.
This change coincided with protests.
